HomeStore Signage is a digital signage platform for business displays. The online workspace lets you upload media, create designs, organize playlists, and assign schedules. A connected player app displays that content on a TV.
No browser is used for native Android player playback. You install the HomeStore Signage APK on a compatible device and pair it to your workspace. Your computer or phone uses the online dashboard to manage the content.
The current beta APK requires Android 8.0 or newer and is intended for compatible Android TV and Google TV devices. A TV with another operating system can use an external compatible Android player through HDMI. The APK does not install directly on Roku, Samsung Tizen, or LG webOS. Physical-device certification is still pending; validate playback, remote navigation, and restart behavior on your intended hardware.
Yes. The visual design studio includes editable starter templates and a blank canvas, with text, shapes, images, positioning, sizing, and layer controls. Publish designs to your media library for playlists. It is our own editor, not Canva or a full replacement for every advanced Canva feature.
The native player is designed to keep playing content it has already downloaded during its server-issued offline authorization window. New media needs a connection to download. Offline playback and recovery must be validated on your specific device during the beta pilot.
The app includes a keep-awake setting, optional startup settings, and scheduled blackout. Your device may require you to approve a system permission. Automatic startup depends on the TV or player's software. Blackout makes the content area black and stops audio; it does not switch off the TV or guarantee that it can wake a powered-off screen.
Self-service accounts begin pending approval, without active screen licenses. A HomeStore administrator enables your workspace and assigns a screen allowance. If you received an invitation to a business that has already been enabled, set your password through that private invitation link and sign in.
Public paid plans and automatic subscription billing are not available in this beta. Registration does not charge you. Screen access is arranged and activated manually by the platform owner. Begin with a one-screen pilot; the native player is not yet certified across TV models or tested for a full commercial hardware rollout.
One workspace. Your content. A more connected display.
